This presentation (PowerPoint slides) supported the panel discussion featuring librarians in the public, school and academic sectors sharing their experiences of working overseas and in cross-cultural environments. From the Pacific Islands to Scotland, Vietnam and China, the panellists discussed the challenges and joys of working outside their comfort zone, taking their skills outside traditional library roles, as well as the logistics of making the leap. 

Collaborating across borders with the New Professionals Special Interest Group (NPSIG) [slides]

This presentation (PowerPoint slides) supported the talk on the IFLA New Professional Special Interest Group (NPSIG). NPSIG is a worldwide group of library professionals who provide opportunities to engage and collaborate on a range of projects, from the annual IFLA camp unconference to sessions at the IFLA World Library and Information Congress (WLIC), and online webinars.
