Digital libraries

The HLA/MedicalDirector Digital Health Innovation Award is funded by MedicalDirector and maintained by the ALIA Health Libraries Australia group. The Award focuses on innovation projects in health care information delivery with practical outcomes. 
The Award is presented annually at a relevant HLA (ALIA) event. The recipient/s are to be presented with a certificate and $3,000 to implement the innovation or further their (or their team’s) professional development in the area of the innovation.

This submission from the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) recommends the publication of the full text of Parliamentary Papers through a national repository based in the parliamentary network providing long- term access through modern systems supporting full text searching, RSS feeds, alerts and other mechanisms to assist Australians to participate in our great democracy.

ALIA Library is an open access repository of documents produced by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) to support the work of library and information professionals in Australia and around the world. This statement outlines the scope, nature and management of ALIA Library collection material.
